COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course teaches participants how to administer ITC's SME Competitiveness Survey (SME CS). It begins with an overview of ITC's definition of SME competitiveness and an explanation of the nature of the SME CS, the parties involved in it and the potential uses of the data gathered. It then moves on to focus on the survey's structure and the ways in which interviewers are expected to carry out the SME CS. Finally, it concludes with an overview of interviewer-respondent dynamics to ensure that unexpected situations are kept to a minimum.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:
